Players at Maelstrom Mixer will register for one of four superfactions, loosely defined as Imperium, Chaos, Tyranids, and Raiders. Each of these superfactions will have a fully developed backstory and plot ark for players to work within to tell their stories. Each superfaction will have between 4-8 players who you will get to know over the course of the weekend, learning how best to apply your collective talents and army compositions to the challenges you face. Similarly, you will come to know the rival Warlords in the warzone, each of them possessing characteristic strengths ... as well as weakness that can be exploited.
